Every week you will see a Task List that you need to complete.   In these times when I will only see you once or twice or week (or less if we are doing the distance learning model) it is even more important for you to be a responsible and active learner to make sure you complete the tasks and stay up on the work.   I'm excited to see you so let's get started!

task list - week of may 24th

  • We are in the final stretch....we will wrap up the film version of To Kill a Mockingbird, the film.  If you are distance learning only it is available via a link on Teams.   Film questions are also posted there.
  • The first of three parts of the final will be available starting this week.  More info posted on Teams soon.

  • Present your To Kill a Mockingbird Newspaper Projects
  • We will begin watching To Kill a Mockingbird the film
  • There is a questions/packet that goes with the film.
  • I'll begin making the Final accessible starting next week.

  • As we wrap up the Of Mice and Men papers monday, we will start preparing for reading William Shakespeare's, The Tragedy of Romeo and Juliet.
  • Watch the Youtube video - Biography of William Shakespeare and complete the note taker assignment on Teams.
  • I will introduce the Prologue and and Act 1 later this week when I see you.  Look for a video intro here later in the week.
  • YOU ARE TO READ THRU ACT I, SCENE 2 OF ROMEO AND JULIET THIS WEEK!

  • After a weird week of snow we will again attempt to wrap up the novel, Of Mice and Men.
  • This week you should be working on the literary analysis paper on OMAM.
  • Expect to peer edit/get some feedback from a reader or two.  Make sure you are using MLA Style.
  • Keep working on your Smash Journals as well.
